miles question
Does Budget enforce the "frequent flyer number must be presented at time of rental" clause? I'd like to keep this rental "in reserve" in case I need a last-minute US Grand Slam hit. If I don't need the hit, obviously I'd rather credit to AA.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I just returned a car at HNL Budget and they let me run my AA miles at the time of return.
I fly on AA and UAL and wasn't sure how long I'd be keeping the car so I wanted to wait to determine which account to credit.
UAL is more generous with their miles, but is capped at 500 per rental. AA gives less, but is uncapped, so for one week, I do UAL, anything longer, I do AA.
A year or so ago, I believe I actually got credited miles with AA when I scanned a budget receipt and emailed it through the" request mileage credit" tab.
