If BA still flew to Dublin, I'd be there at that time and more than happy to help. As they don't, I'm slumming it on BMI so over in T1, loungeless too!

I had that problem for a while as well. That is why I am now the third manifestation of myself - KenJohn3. Thankfully ba97 has tweak the database to work with Macs.

Unfortunately I am at LCY this afternoon which is lounge-less

If you're already a GCH, why do you need help getting into the lounge?

I know the OP says don't flame him, and I'll try to be gentle, but this request is almost on a weekly basis now. Surely if you want those travelling with you to have lounge access then pay the CW fare or is this too simple a suggestion. You can already take in one guest as a GCH anyway.

The amount of times you request people to guest you and/or friends in to the lounge, surely your friends would have their own silver or gold card by now.

And you say it's to help a fellow FTer. I know everyone's different but I'd certainly want to know about the person I'm guesting into the lounge and if you haven't shown their FT handle how can we know who it is. I'm not prepared to risk my status for the sake of somebody I don't know.

Wrong, wrong, wrong in my view .... sorry

sorry Sunrise, but could you explain how someone else helping this person out would effect you negatively ? If you dont want to help fine, but what do you feel that need to chime in ?

I think SRG means that if she were to guest someone in using her card, she'd want to know who this guest is, as opposed to the guest being some near-random stranger - who might start dancing the twist on the tables, print out the oxford english dictionary and walk away with 20 bottles of Bolly, 10 kg of sausages, and a tea bag - since we're responsible for the people we guest in (?).

Let's not run the debate yet again of the pros/cons of guesting people in to the lounges

Speaking of which, can the inviter exit the lounge and leave the invitee in? Is there a policy to this?
