MMB is showing 4+2 rows with a galley after row 4. Makes no sense if looking at the seatmap posted by Phil in his diary which has all 6 rows in one go.
This looks like the 48J version.
4EF or 11EF are the best choices. 4EF is in the front cabin which although larger is a little quieter as the 2 row CW cabin is right in front of WT+ and if you have a baby on the other side of the bulkhead it can be noisy.

4EF are your best bet!

I am due to be flying on the 777 BA2166 TPA-LGW, can anyone confirm which seats are the better ones in CW? I will be travelling alone and would prefer a window.

Are the better ones 4A/K 5A/K (if it exists) or 11A/k?

Thanks,

NV

5A/K (if they exist) have a misaligned window.
I've never flown in 4A/K to know if it's the same with those.

Front cabin is further away from the engines, and taking a rear seat in the forward cabin ensures a quicker getaway upon landing (as opposed to a rear seat in the rear cabin which would be last to leave!)

I am pretty sure 4A/K have a normally-aligned window.

[QUOTE=FenLandK;14026475] WTP shalt not pass the CW curtain.

Unfortunately, I find that "they" do!! Often and many.

No doubt the wrong thread, but it seems i might be able to take my LHR-JFK-LHR in December but the overnight return BA174 has been changed from a 744 with 52J/K reserved to a 773.

Any ideas on seats to look out for or avoid on the 773's ??

cheers

Glad to hear. ^

Are you in CW or WT? On the 773, I would reserve 10AB/JK as they are the furthest forward... 16AB have their attractions but they are just too far down the cabin for me.

We are flying out to EWR in Feb and we have 10ABD reserved and for the return from JFK a few days after that we have 63JK and 64K reserved. First time in 64K, first time on the UD with the newer CW seats ^

I'd rather choose 11AK on the 773.. 10AK have a missing window and you can't see outside when you're sitting upright...

52JK are WT seats. Can't comment on 77W WT though.

I'd move to a 744 flight. The 773 is a horror show in Club.

I have to disagree.. My last flight on 747s were always on worn out "old" seats, all the 773 are brand new and the upgraded IFE and the new seats are quite a nice touch in a premium cabin..

Oh i would.......... but the only flights left as rewards on that date are sleeper services on the 744 and its not something that the Dorris wants to do
