OTish: Anyone seen the QF A380 "virtual tour"?

QF has imo an amazing feature about the A380 on their website. Really gives you a good insight into their products.

This feature is closely followed by another good virtual tour on the CX website.

Come on BA keep up with the competition! It'd be a shame if their new F product didn’t arrive with a competing website tour.

As an aside, anyone know if you can redeem BA miles for F tix on QF A380 F?

Nice demos.

SQ does a pretty good job promoting their suites on the A380 as well.

BA would have to be really proud of their new F cabin to produce demos on this level.

Whether that actually happens remains to be seen.

Unless I completely missed it, I thought SQ website was appalling. Only a brief few unrealistic photos of their suites.

QF website also has an excellent virtual tour of their F lounge.

It's to be hoped they connect more than one air bridge though, like they show in the video!

SQ must have changed something. They used to have some pretty nice demo videos of the 77W and 380 cabins.

Now their website is quite disappointing.

I'm a big fan of the Qantas website - especially the level of detail they go into about their ground and onboard products. The new first class lounge tours are very impressive.

Hello from LA! When we landed yesterday, the QF A380 was parked up nose to nose with John Travolta's 707 in QF colours. I think it was a photo shoot for the first time the QF A380 had landed here. Unfortunately my camera was in the overhead locker. :-( The 707 didn't half look small next to it though!

Wait until you experience the FLounge first hand, it will blow you away.

They used two in Melbourne for the inaugural, one for downstairs and one upstairs.

I wonder, what with BA having tha largest fleet of 747's and generally being a big airline, why are they so late to the party when it comes to the 380's?

Financial reasons, and past experience. Some airlines like to be launch customers, and some don't. The A380 is a very good example of how much intense and excruciating pain launch customers sometimes have to suffer.

I hate the design of their business product!! Club World is so much better.

Their F looks nice though, might have to try it next year if I go to Australia.

What, may I ask, was unrealistic?
