Question Best CW seats on 777?

What are the best seats on the 777 in Club World? We'll be flying from EWR. Seatguru says that 10K and 12K have either misaligned or no window. FlyerTalk's guide says that 10K is the best view. I am confused. I currently reserved 10J&K because they seem to be further from the engine. Is that a good choice? Having a window is a must for me - never travel in the middle.

10K is fine, there is a missing window but it is behind you iirc. Certainly the quietest seat in Club - by Row 15 you need ear defenders (slight exageration )

Hi,

10A is good also ( you get a good view of the engine). Further back the wing will start to impede the view slightly.

Regards

You don't want 12A (or 12K for that matter). Its window blank does tend to limit elbow space.

On 777s I generally sit in 10/11D as these are my preferred seats but thought I might try 15K on Tuesday as it seems the closest in feel to 64K (trying to pretend I am on a 747). Is it much noisier than 10/11 ?

Had a problem in 10J on the last flight as the door seal for door 2R seemed not to be doing its job and there was terrible whistling on the take off and approach. Fine crusing though ..

Are 10B and 10D level with each other, or are they staggered? I don't know whether to get 10D and 10E or 10B and 10D. It is for LHR-DXB overnight so will mainly be sleeping but don't want to be too far apart.(10A has gone and not bothered about windows)

Feel free to prod, but i could not find the answer searching.

Edited to add, I know seatguru shows they are not level, just wondering by how much.

The problem I have with 15A/K (other than getting them - they're held back until T-72 as the bassinette positions) is that they're another pair with misaligned windows. In this case, it's right by your elbow - I find it a bit cramped and slightly claustrophobic.

10B and 10D are aligned, and a good choice if you want aisle seats. You get the extra space behind 10A to shove stuff too.

Never had 15A/K available before T-24.
In fact I have a flight in J on a 777 in less then 48 hours from now, and they are still showing as blocked, and I very much doubt they will open up until OLCI opens.

IME the bassinet seats - 64A on UD etc - open up at T-72 hours, unless they have been assigned at this point a beinfanted person.

I always try to get a window seat but going back to LHR from TLV this week there were none available and none had been available since booking the ticket on MMB. So phoned Gold Guest List and asked them if it would be possible to have a window seat - less than 12 hours later they had snagged me 15K. On EF it had been blocked but they obviously opened it up for me - most kind!

There is a mis-aligned window but at least there is a viewable window from there...had the seat before and it isnt an issue.

You'll have a lovely view of the wing and everything above it.
