Is there a Starbucks at LHR T1?
Noted this on another forum:
"Whilst waiting for a long haul flight I found the Starbucks in Terminal One (Lower level, where the shops are) to be really useful. They were giving away free access cards to customers who bought a coffee which was a really useful touch, free is always good."
This discussion forum is talking about wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) provision at Heathrow.
I didn't think that there was a Starbucks at terminal 1, just at terminals 3 and 4.

I don't know what is meant by "lower level by the shops".
If they mean landside, the coffee place on the lower level (where there aren't any shops) is Costa Coffee.
Airside there is Cafe Nero, and also a Costa Coffee on the way to the Lounge. They are by the shops, but not on any "lower level".

No Starbucks at T1 or T2 according to the BAA website, and I certainly never recall seeing them. Maybe they are getting confused with Est Coffee (airside international departures), Coffee Republic (Domestic arrivals), Costa Coffee (Landside arrivals and departures and airside domestic departures) or Caffe Nero (airside international departures), who do have branches at T1?

Thanks all, that's what I thought.
Haven't flown out of T1 for a while, thought they might have sneaked in there.

They do a lovely choclate cake (one of the few things I can read in Russian ). I like the one in ГУМ.
And the coffee wasn't bad either.
I can't remember the name, but there is one down the road from the Sheraton as well (Tverskaya, kremlin direction) that's pretty good too. And they have an English menu!
