Parking at Gatwick

Hi All,

I'm sure there's a thread already on this, but I can't seem to find it.

I need to find out what the suggestions are for parking at Gatwick, anyone point me in the right direction?

Phil

If you do a search for Gatwick car park, you should find the result most enlightening.

We always use NCP Flightpath and book through http://www.baa.com to get the WorldPoints. It's about a 5 minutes bus ride from the terminal and there are buses every 5-10 minutes.

Only downside is you might get stuck on a bus with a load of chavs off for a bucket and spade holiday

And if you don't know the true purpose of Gatwick car parks, you will find out too.

I use the Flightpath and find it reasonable. Buses seem to be regular enough and if you book on the internet it is seamless enough. Just remember not to put a space between the number and last three letters of registration. It didn't let me out last time when I put the space in.

Err...no that would be the Summer Holiday Parking place which is to the left of the roundabout before the NCP Flight Path North....I used it once last Easter and was horrified to find that I left my car in a line (as if it was a rental car waiting to be returned) while somebody else would then park it.... ...it didn't help that the cars surrounding mine seemed to be complete wrecks either.

I duly made note of my mileage in case I came back to a nasty surprise.

It worked out OK however I wouldn't do it again as the bus took you to the South Terminal, which I then had to make my way to the North Terminal for my BA flight!!!! Arghh!!!

Walking dogs in a Gatwick car park? Surely a field would be nicer?
