If even teenage boys can do this - when are we going to start our own airline? At least we'd know how to build a good frequent flyer programme...
Venture capital, anybody?

Come to think of it, this sounds very good....With the modularisation of BD, there seems to be a gap in the market for a full-service airline in the UK, and S*****m could do with a British partner, too....

Anyone remember EuroScot flying out of Bournemouth. Everything hired in and a payroll of less than 10. Bankrupt after not very long at all. Although to their credit they did at least get off the ground.

At least they claim to offer allocated seating which is more than most LCCs do!
That other lad was doing routes from Cambridge to Oxford wasn't he? Quite a good route as it is not an easy car route from what others have said?

That said, the start up costs just to get a operating certificate were of the order of a quarter million pounds in 1984 coin.
Its founder, Randolph Fields, lost a good percentage of the million pounds he made off Branson with his ill fated second airline venture, Highland Express, another a single 747 operation between STN/PIK and North America.
