Executive Club/Terrace Lounge access question
I will be doing some First intercontinental travel again on BA in late April and of course will have lounge access based on the class of ticket for those flight segments. However, some of my intra-South African segments will be on Comair, in Business Class. I am unsure of the lounge access policy for business class tickets. I assume it does include appropriate lounge access, at least from my reading of the perks that go along with Club Europe (the equivilent product). Can someone confirm this, please? I have used the lounges before based on my oneworld Sapphire status, but may not have my current AA Plat status when I travel on BA. I have a fairly long connection at JNB and look forward to using their Terrace Lounge in the domestic terminal. (I also assume flights to Victoria Falls depart from this terminal and not the International one.)

No problem at all with access to Business Class lounges with A Business Class ticket. Outside of the UK Club and EC lounges are normally combined.
If you are on a flight in a country with a First lounge, and you have First segments on your ticket and 'best available class' where First is not avialable, you are able to use the First lounge.

You do have access to domestic lounges in JNB,CPT and I believe Durban when flying domestic Business Class on Comair. The Vic Falls flight I believe leaves from the International Terminal not the domestic - it is in Zimbabwe after all (Vic Falls, not the International Terminal) so you would have access to the BA/QF combined International lounge where there is no separate 1st class area.

Thanks. Pretty much confirms my what I thought the case might be. As for the Victoria Falls flight, I know it is international so wondered if that lounge would even be open that early in the day (around noon time). I find the domestic one at JNB much nicer, and with 3 hours to pass don't want to be without a more "appropriate" space to pass the time.
