Traffic & Capacity Stats - March 1999
MARCH STATS:
RPK (revenue passenger kilometers) were up 9.6% on the previous yer. International traffic was up 10.% and UK/Europe traffic up 6.9%.
ASKs (Available seat kilometers) were up 10.5%, giving a passenger yield factor of 73.1%
FULL YEAR RESULTS:
RPK growth of 10.8%. ASK growth of 11.8%. Passenger load factor of 70.7%
HIGHLIGHTS OF MONTH:
- Base Airlines becomes a franchise partner.
- Additional code-sharing and "deeper frequent flyer integration" with LOT Polish Airlines.
- Standard & Poor confirm no airline has a higher credit rating than BA.
