My British Airways Dream Bar CE and CW (& F) aka Let's bankrupt BA

Taking the idea of PUCCI GALORE , in the drink pet peeve thread, there appears to be quite a few drinks that FTers would like to see on (or back on) BA in the premium cabins. With all of these they'd be bankrupt in a week, but hey just a bit of fun!

What would people like to see?.

I'd like to see some decent dark rums (not necessarily expensive):
Woods, Krakken, Pussers Gunpowder or an SBS
Champagne: Krug, Moet or a Veuve Clicquot
and just for a bit of variety, how about some Daijinjo Sake?...

I’d be delighted to find a good quality scotch like a Lagavulin 16 onboard!

Since I predominantly drink gin, champagne or red wine (not all in the one glass, I hasten to add) I’m relatively well catered for on BA. Though they should ditch that nasty Aviation gin and switch it to something else. The Botanist or Silent Pool would get my vote.

Some prosecco and Aperol would be a welcome addition to the bars too, for an Aperol Spritz, though that’s hardly going to bankrupt BA

I much prefer a Laproaig or Port Charlotte, but the Lagavulin would be a vast improvement on the present choice of a middle of the road single malt and Johnnie's mouthwash

Interesting you highlighted the Aviation gin. I will drink virtually anything and find it difficult to differentiate between different gins however I found the Aviation stuff vile.

I'm good, BA is probably the only airline in the world that stocks decent beer and that's all I need.

I wouldn’t describe either as high end but I’d love to see Balvenie Doublewood Caribbean Rum cask and Monkey 47 gin onboard.

I'd like it if they had Amaretto on the menu like AA. Also some nice dessert wines like Sauternes and Tokajis. Really couldn't care less about the Champagnes - wish they'd save the money on them for a broader variety of drinks.

Fully agree about the Aviation gin, I can only assume that’s what turpentine tastes like.

As for beer, it’s a poor selection for a British airline. Surely there’s more options out there?

If you want the best Islay can offer probably some Octomore I would say.

Very classy bottle to boot as well.

Bring back Fanta Orange and Schweppes Lemonade please! I'm not asking for much!

I drank a 747 dry of Schweppes Lemonade in the 90s once (or twice)… Sprite is a poor substitute. Yes, I realise I'm asking for Fanta at the same time, but that's because European Fanta is superior to US Fanta, and I'd rather not lift a couple of Fanta cans from the lounges each time…
