BA Best Booze

I don't know of any other threads on these lines.... sorry if there are.

Adding to the club word choice of a Johnnie Ginger with the Johnnie swapped for a proper whisky such as Caol Ila, may I also pass a motion to recommend the Rum Old Fashioned in the First Lounge.... Picture to follow.

Any other suggestions??

Nice to see the Zacapa Rum still there, I was in the F Lounge at T3 in December they never had any, the bartender said BA were phasing it out for another Rum.

You can with a combination of Baileys, Tia Maria and Vodka make pretty good White Russian.

I am glad to see the Negroni is back it disappeared for a while.
BA or bust likes this.

Or you could make a real White Russian with Milk, Kahlua and Vodka, all available in the lounge.

Very much 👍👍 for the Negroni.

The less said about Baileys, Tia Maria and Vodka the better ………. 😁

Ryan Chetiawardana's cocktails on the left hand side of the LHR T5 GF are quite drinkable, although too sweet for my taste. There's no soda, so I put sparkling water and extend it a bit by using a 1/2 mix and then a half mix of vodka or gin.

Is OP proposing to mix Caol Ila with ginger ale?

I consider that verging on criminal. Would not risk doing it with any Scots around.

Some of us don’t like whisky. But have other uses for it:

Blue masking tape peeled off leaving glue behind. Blue Label does exactly what it says on the can; it is great for removing the blue glue that won’t come off easily!
