Channel 4 Concorde 2-part series starts 18 Feb 2024 21:00

I'm not sure if this has been broadcast before, the documentary was made in November 2023.

"Concorde: The Race For Supersonic"

Also available on demand now.

Yes thanks. That will be interesting and emotional. Every time they show the Concordes landing for the last time at LHR, it makes me want to weep.

I watched this a few weeks ago after spotting it on their website. I quite enjoyed it.

I hope I can stream this in Canada soon.

Also, Teamisry Podcast made an excellent, albeit perhaps a little too layman, series of Concorde. Season 4. It's was a great listen.

Talk about re-hashing past glories. How many Concorde documentaries is too many?

Sour grapes? ;-)

This series covers recently emerged material on the extent of Soviet industrial espionage, as well as the failure of the Tu144 and, if I dare mention it, the Boeing 2707 SST.

Perhaps when the number of documentaries approaches that of the "past glories" of the Apollo Moon Landings, we'll take our foot off the gas. ;-)

Nostalgia and an interest in history still isn't illegal or considered morally reprehensible over here in Blighty.

Generally, no. Channel 4 try to block VPNs but I don't know how successful they are at it.

They do put some programmes on Youtube a while after they're broadcast which, I assume, are available worldwide.

NordVPN usually works although I use OpenVPN to route through my TPLink home router which works a treat and is uber reliable
