Just took the offer of 275 to CAI in May. Original booking was a reward fare and cash price in J today was 602. Think I saw an offer towards the end of last year for ~370
Not the greatest value but it was the only flight (of 6) as part of a special trip that wasnt in J/F.
Just to be clear Ive understood, (first time POUGing) original reward bookings wont earn any Avios/TPs?

Tomorrow's (19 Feb) BA1312 to ABZ, booked through corporate TA in Y, HBO a few weeks ago. Prior to OLCI offered upgrade to Club for 5750 Avios and 9 taxes which I was keen to take, though despite getting as far as card payment the IT decided that I couldn't actually upgrade in MMB. At OLCI once BA got hold of the ticket upgrade offered for 79 which seems to be standard; would rather have taken the Avios price (though would I have received the tier points for an Avios upgrade?) but accepted the OLCI offer anyway. Same offered for BA1309 back on Tuesday.

Booked a one-way to SIN on WT HBO for 430 last summer (flight is for next month) and have been monitoring offers ever since. I should have snapped the 450 POUG to WTP which opened up a couple of days after booking, before it jumped to 800+ and then 1300+ in the following months. It then dropped to 499 earlier this month so have gone for it. WT on a BA 787 is no laughing matter, I'm told..

649 both ways, LHR-JFK, CW-F, flying end of this week.
A) Seems V steep!
B) Reward booking, so no Avios or TP's so even less incentive to go for.

Certainly not, as she's on holiday with her boyfriend.
We did use some avios from the family account to reduce the cost of her ticket, which she thinks is a great deal. As she's had a free upgrade from BA on her last 2 flights, LHR-PDX-LHR she's hoping lightening strikes twice. We'll see
