It's funny that most of the posters seem to be lurkers on here. They've formed strong opinions, that's for sure. It reminds me of back and forth conversations between this board and a particular Facebook group.

(OTOH, sorry OP but I have a feeling this thread isn't long for the closing...)

Oh, come on. Much the same could probably be said, if one were being unkind (as you are), about many of the contributors to this forum. There is no discernable difference between trainspotters and aviation nerds - and both, in my opinion, are entitled to pursue their hobby without ridicule.

And I have never seen a bobble hat in the First Class Lounge at Birmingham New Street.

I doubt holders of first class rail tickets from Birmingham are denizens of that particular forum though. But loosen up and enjoy an inter forum WAR.

After all, they started it.

Because it is always Infernally hot in T5, especially in the South Lounges area.

We can get revenge by talking about the reliability of the Elizabeth Line.

Actually, I thought their comments were all fine. It's a relatively good summary of this forum.

A fun read on the wind down week heading in to Christmas!

I think we should petition the mods to change the small description of the BAEC forum from “British Airways and BA CityFlyer, plus SUN-AIR of Scandinavia franchise partners” to “a swirling tornado of angsty middle class nonsense

Errr, that's still way better than 50-year-old execs (with children already of adult age) displaying DYKWIA behaviour demanding entry into CCR!
