BA Longhaul using T3 at LHR?
Just booked a BA trip JER-LHR-PHX, and noticed the outbound and inbound longhaul flights are showing as Terminal 3. Is that a 'new normal', or would I expect it to change nearer the date?
Just curious ... fortunately there's plenty of time for the connection, and ISTR the T3 Lounges are decidedly better than T5!

I'm flying phx-lhr-gva-lhr-phx in mid November. I discovered the terminal change in late September or early October. I had been looking forward to an easy T5-T5 transfer. My connections "should" have enough time but the lounge time will be somewhat limited now due to having to take the bus... At least I get to try the CX first class lounge now .

This summer schedule IIRC it was just the few routes that usually use the 4 class 777s fitted with old CW seats, though they were in maintenance for a lot of the time! But seems like some A350 flights have also moved across now too (which was planned to be earlier, I was on an August LAS that was switched from T3 to T5)
Be prepared for annoying little delays - I've done 2 x Bermuda and 1 x Prague and all were delayed by either crew or aircraft coming across from T5.

I had the misfortune to fly LHR-LAS yesterday from T3 preceded by a tour of the airport in a bus. Much less convenient to get to as well. Still, I count myself as lucky to have noticed before rocking up at T5.
