BA Amenity Kit gets 4 Stars from The Daily Mail

I’ve not seen this posted yet. The DM reviewed amenity kits from a number of airlines on July 22nd this year and gave BA a solid 4 Stars. Above JL, CX and SQ, equal to NH and TK but below QR.

Is this a turning point in the relationship between BA and The DM?

The EK one seems to be the best in J. Wee bottle of eau de toilette, shaving faom and razor, I was pleasantly surprised with it, still I can't stand their non lie flat beds and someone next to me on a 777, so it is QR again.

Just a moderator note to say that we’ve amended the thread title : BA Amenity Kit gets 4 Stars from The Daily Mail is a somewhat different proposition to the original BA gets 4 Stars from The Daily Mail.

Also worth noting, as they say on TV, that this first aired in July 2023 :

The White Company (principally a bedding company not a skincare company) above Bamford or Penhaligon? Okay then!

Both according to the article.

We tested: First-class amenity kits and the amenity kit by lifestyle brand The White Company for business-class (Club World) passengers.

The first class one has Elemis toiletry, and that could compete at least on that front, but the business class against even EK (Bulgari perfume and creams) has no chance. I used to like the separate toothbrush / toothpaste hard case used to be given in Club. I still use one replacing the actual content as they get used.

The quality of the Bamford products included in the CX kits is pretty poor, IMO. Although it may be counterintuitive, I prefer The White Company amenities.

If it is out of 10, it is a normal rating.
But don't think it worths 4 out of 5...

I wouldn't rate The White Company kit so highly. As with everything, personal preferences

I miss the days of flying in LH First and their Rimowa kits.
