where do i put my known traveller number?

i finally got my Global entry interview done when i took a trip to Orlando this week but i cant seem to find where to put my known traveller number in my BAEC profile. i would have thought it was under the Advanced passenger information section but all that wants is my Passport information.
ive managed to add it to profiles on Virgin Atlantic and AA but i just cant find anywhere on the BA site

am i just being blind or is it not possible to do it?

You can't add it to your BA profile, only via bookings

I don't think it really matters whether it is added in terms of your ability to use GE on arrival. I guess the only advantage in adding it is so your bp shows TSA pre for your return.

Having TSA-pre in the booking for the outbound is supposed to mean the check-in agent doesn't do the 20 questions routine "How did you get to the airport?" "What's the purpose..?" etc.

ba don’t do that anyway. Are you thinking of US carriers?

AA does, or used to. I've had GE for nearly 10 years now so it's hard to remember who did !

Also worth pointing out, once you have entered your known traveller number into a booking, subsequent bookings will automatically populate with the number.

Even if you have a KTN in your booking with AA this will not necessarily prevent the security questioning that AA does at LHR and CDG.

Weirdly this hasn't happened for me and has resulted in me adding it every single time. My location also used to be consistent but now needs to be changed each time.

Doesn’t work for me either, I have to submit it on every booking.

It would be very annoying having to enter the KTN for each booking.

How strange.

My KTN always appears pre-populated. I always assumed it was attached to your APIS details.

Every time I enter this information into a booking, I always check the box that I want it added to my profile.

It never happens.

Very annoying, BA!
