Not sure this has been reported elsewhere on the site but awful story here. Well done to the brave crew!

This reinforces why Cabin crew are here "for your safety" first and for service second. Well done to them. It must have been an adrenaline pumping incident to have everybody looking at you and expecting you to jump in to resolve this. Sensible option to allow a female to provide first intervention. Classic pub training where they teach that generally, men are far less likely to be aggressive to a female trying to deescalate matters than if it were a man jumping in. Unusually for a red top rag, it doesn't mention that it was an alcohol fuelled rage which if there was a hint that alcohol played a part, that would be highlighted. This would then lead to the usual calls to ban alcohol in airports and on board and even some calls for breath testing at the gate.
Y class passengers though. Reminds me why I would refuse to travel rather than travel Y.

You would certainly hope that the accomodation received on St Lucia was somewhat more basic than the one they had booked and with a lot more supervision, that's for sure.
What a horrible experience that must've been. Well done to the crew that managed to de-escalate the situation.

I wondered how many posts we would get to before something as moronic as this would be posted, so well done, take a bow. I would just point out that there have been multiple instances of air rage in premium cabins over the years. That doesnt suit your narrative though
