Illicit liaisons in T5 GF

Arrived back from MIA and after using the arrivals lounge and dumping my bags back onto my motorbike I headed back into T5 for my final INV shuffle.

On the GF terrace was a slightly older gentleman (mid 50's) who was fairly portly and dressed in business wear.

Sat with him was a young lady (late 20's or very early 30's) also dressed in business attire. After a few minutes it was evident this wasn't just business colleagues as she was furtively touching his hand and making him very giddy! They left about 9am so no idea where they were off to. I just hope his wife wasn't travelling today!

First time I've seen such an encounter, must happen a fair bit I guess.

It was traditional to describe such a young lady to fellows in your club as "my neice"

Don’t assume! It may well have been his wife/partner. Love has no age barriers.

As long as they're in their own private bubble, and not disturbing anyone else's peace, what is it to any of us? Causing, as it seems, gentle bystander titillation aside of course...

No ring on her finger, but it was the furtive nature of it that made it obvious that this was definitely an illicit tryst that normally has to be well concealed.

I'm not sure where I suggested they were doing anything to disturb anyone, in fact I was very happy for him as he looked like the cat that got the cream every time she brushed his hand under the table.

It was the OP's reference to the "INV Shuffle" that got me interested.......

And also at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel, (at least back in 1990...)

Maybe one of them had taken their shoes off, or put their feet on a chair?

This is a very old-school BA forum of what an "illicit liaison" is. Are you sure you were back from MIA? Certainly there to qualify for the term you probably need actual nakedness and/ or penetration.

Seems much more tame that the "couple" in 2E/F from SYD to SIN last month. that emerged half way through the flight from both somehow being in 2E and putting their clothes back on. I guess they wanted cheese and desert....
