BA LAX Arrivals

Could anyone provide quick insight into speed of arrivals at TBIT LAX? Is there a train/remote stand? With Global Entry is it fast like EWR/JFK where from gate to taxi can be <10 minutes, or is it a longer process? Thanks!

There's no train. It's probably slightly more than 10 minutes but with GE you'd be looking at a pretty rapid exit from the airport. The new iPad style GE kiosks with facial recognition are very fast.

Thanks! If it was going to be like 30-60 min I'd consider P/S!

I have Global Entry but still use PS every time I depart, arrive or connect at LAX.

On 17 March I arrived on the BA283 at 14.15. Despite the GE kiosk failing to recognise me (necessitating a short stop with the friendly CBP officer) I was through and in the Hyatt Regency (on foot!) by 14.50. Hand baggage only of course.

5 minutes from gate to baggage hall this weekend. It took longer for the gate staff to attach the jetty to the aircraft. Ten more minutes until bags were on the belt. Not sure it’s really worth PS on arrival if you have GE.

I'm assuming fairly quick option on arrival? Down stairs from jetty, <10 min car ride, GE and out into waiting car? 8/10 doesn't necessarily save time, but those 2/10 its homerun?

For what its worth I think I'll be landing late on a Saturday.

The private terminal. Separate building and car takes to/from plane direct. If domestic, can even get car direct plane to home.

When we went to SFO in December our passports were not even stamped. No fingerprints. Nothing. Literally waved through. It was a step change from previous entries.

but yet when I go to palma…..

Especially nice on connections. PS rep meets you at the end of the jet bridge, down elevator to car, across tarmac to private terminal, private CBP immigration and customs, chic lounge with drinks and food, private TSA, car back to your connecting plane, upstairs or elevator to pre-board. Pics from a recent visit and
