BA wants 9k avios for a 63 miles flight?

Ok, so I transferred some points into it and now it shows correct RFS.

So as a summary, the regular price around 4500 avios + tax/fees should show, but that's screwed up on the website. But I can still get RFS.

I'm glad that I asked, I was hoping someone in the BA space will know something that I'm not aware. Thanks to Tafflyer , FlightDetective , corporate-wage-slave for the help!
