Ba199 to Mumbai- no charging points

Ba199 to Mumbai- no charging points

I can charge my phone on the local bus but not here! Luckily I have a power pack. Pretty poor though.

For info, the BA199 on 1st February is being operating by G-YMMR which is a 777-236 (ER).

I guess you aren't in CW then. Iirc, these 77J are only equipped with AC power in CW; no comfort to you but I believe they are due to be refurbished soon.

Sadly, having a charging point in your seat is no guarantee that it will work!

we were actually in CW.
It was an OK flight and dinner was good. .(didn't eat breakfast) Service a little slow but crew were polite and chatty.
First off plane, but that was a bad move as we were the chosen ones for covid testing- so long, slow moving passport control queue!
Definitely in need of a refurbish!

There should have been one down next to the storage bin - basically on the floor - some of them also have USBs higher up next to IFE remote.

Or were there power points but just not working?
