BA2273
We are flying in BA2273 on 12th Feb, been keeping an eye on it as the plane keeps changing along with the seats we have paid for (selected a two at the back and each time the layout changes we end up in a random spot on the plane)as well as looking at whether it’s leaving on time.
Anyway I noticed that it hasn’t flown for the past week and not flying this coming week as far as I can see.
Is there a reason for this and would there be any issue with our flight next month?

School half-term begins on 10th Feb, so I'd imagine BA know the extra capacity will sell.

This has been pointed out previously but as the only Gatwick service to JFK, it’s more prone to changes, delays, etc. Obviously Heathrow is the route for JFK, I’d not read too much into changes but much nearer the time is when I’d start to pay attention.

It was always planned that 2273 would not operate from 16th January to I believe February 10th. Since restarting from Gatwick in 2022 it has only been cancelled on very few occasions compared to pre-Covid times.
I am told on good authority the loads and yields on this flight have been good.
I must stress again this was a planned schedule removal during a time of lower demand for the service.

It's mostly operated by a 77T, occasionally a 77S: https://speedbird.online/flight.php?BA2273
