Afternoon tea in F LHR-NYC
If one wanted the maximise chances of afternoon tea as the second meal LHR-JFK or EWR, which flight would you recommend:
177 1310 dep
115 1435 dep
113 1615 dep
189 1645 dep (EWR)
Any suggestions on best departures from JFK/ EWR welcome.

The BA177, I think.
Difficult to be 100% sure. Generally you want late morning if possible so BA173 might be best.
I'd return from JFK and use the new lounges there.
Here's some photos you didn't ask for because I've decided that's how I roll these days

Indeed, if this were Lufthansa it could be ''Kaffee und Kuchen'' - literally Coffee and Cake which I seem to recall was a German thing taken between Mittagessen and Abendbrot.

Just Yorkshire Tea ...
I quite like BA's afternoon tea offering, but certainly F is the place to enjoy it - more often than not in J I find the bread is already starting to dry out because of the time needed to serve a large cabin. Even in the heady days of BA1 it was a problem.
Be interesting to know if the Chef's Chat lists all the E numbers in whatever the blue macaroon thing is.
