BHD Cancellations
Hi, can anyone find a reason code for the cancellation of the BA1418 (LHR to BHD) today (17th Sept, 22). There seem to be a lot of cancellations today. We are now on the last flight to DUB which is delayed so it's looking like a very late drive up to NI this evening.

Well, the Y or N is BAs own assessment that it's not eligible for compensation. If there is a Y it's a open door to getting compensation. If you suspect BA is being economical with the truth with a N you should assume your claim will be rejected by the airline but when it gets to CIDR or MCOL adjudication you may still win if BA are unable to evidence their position.

Operational, in this case the usual Saturday and Sunday lack of LHR ground staff on the evening shift. If it was crew it would be FCRx for drivers and CCRx for cabin crew.
