I think you mean Dakar in Senegal, my dear.

Thanks
If you purchase Economy Basic (hand baggage only) tickets for the entire family, you can purchase individual checked bags later. The add on costs per passenger will be

First bag: £50.00 when booked online or £60.00 at the airport check-in
Second bag: £65.00 / £75.00
Third bag: £130.00 / £155.00
Fourth bag: £130.00 / £155.00

I didn’t see Dakar but I did see DSS. I checked and it came out with some odd name for Camaroon. Thank You that’s exactly what I meant.

I caught it in time. It was a photo of me and another FTer. It was compromising.

Folks, perhaps we might remember that the OP is a low post count member who may be completely unaware that Pucci is a legend in her own lunchtime, and while doubtless appreciating the early advice on packing, nonetheless is probably hoping for a rather more sensible set of answers to a serious question.

This would be a good time to concentrate on that, please.

To my mind this is the better option than splitting the ticket. All on one ticket means beat chance of all being seated together if not paying for seat selection, and will be easiest to deal with in the case of IRROPS.

With me its the other way around. I take the minimum whether weekend trip or 2 weeks to europe. It s a struggle to get my husband to pare down his wardrobe.

Sometimes, it is hard for people to break the mold of "1 person = 1 luggage". It depends on the trip. If it is a longer one, requires my snorkeling gear, dress clothes, etc we may each have our own. More often than not, you don't need all of those things. Especially if you get a backpack or other carry-on. Otherwise, we share a suitcase sometimes. 20 lbs for me. 30 lbs for her.
