This was AA’s view as well when i arrived at the T3 arrivals lounge in the first week of April. They were going to raise it at a meeting that day with BA. Should be resolved by now (ie AA definitely gets BA arrivals lounge access at T5).

Is the arrivals lounge back to its regular hours? I arrive at 10 am, and thought about staying until close to noon, having my breakfast there instead of the micro-meal on the flight from YYZ. Any changes since September (I was last there when it first reopened)?

So this was a mixup? If flying QF, CX, or any other OW carriers, can a BAEC Gold access the arrival lounge?

If arriving in T5 from a BA TATL in J, but connecting to a domestic shuttle in Y (one booking), I presume there is no way to access the arrivals lounge ? Do I need to stay airside ? If so, am I able to access the Galleries lounges by way of my J arrival, And are there showers in these lounges ?

Depending on the length of time ( how long is your connection? )you can do these options
(1) go landside go to the arrivals lounge then back through security to the lounges
(2) go landside skip the arrivals lounge go back
Through departures then use the lounge
(3) follow domestic flight connections then use the lounges
You will get lounge access for the gla flight based on your tatl flight in j and if you have a gold card then the first wing in departures is available.
Going landside may be quicker esp with egate access
I think arrivals lounge may have more showers but I prefer to shower once through security in the departure lounge showers ( you can go to the t5b lounge also with enough time and the t5b lounge showers are generally quieter than t5a lounge showers)
