Arriving in the UK on 4th October

Hi all,

Just wondering if I can get some advice on the changes to the travel rules. I'm going to Munich on BA on Friday 1st and returning back on Monday 4th. I arrive at 8:30am so after the rules change. Does that mean I don't need to do a test before flying back to the UK and just a Day 2 PCR?

Thanks

Yes - if you’re double vaccinated no test before arrival, but a day 0-2 test on arrival (this might be done away with in due course).

I'm also arriving around 5am on Monday 04/10, a BA representative confirmed no need for pre departure test.

Before 4/10 only an Antigen test would have been required

I am connecting October 4 at 10:30am and leaving 14:40 for Barcelona. My problem is I check in Sunday eve in Miami. I will get an antigen test to be safe as I am not sure the gate people in MIA will be up to speed.
