missing Avios/TPs for Alaska flight - do I really need to fax a form to BA?

Final paragraph of this saga.
After emailing back using the link so that the same person would read my email, I received an email apologizing for the misinformation and the Avios/TPs have posted.
I hope the IT will be ironed out soon so that such problems do not continue into 2022. (Wishful thinking 🤔?)

For what it's worth, it seems to be that if you booked your ticket with Alaska Airlines directly, they won't post automatically and you'll need to follow up with BA.
If your Alaska flight was a BA codeshare they will post just fine.

AA ticket with AS flight numbers. I’ll give it a month and then chase.
