BA I Fares in Sale?

Hi,

I usually always book my next holiday in the Aug sale and every year I have managed to get I fares on both the outbound and inbound flights. However looking I can not seem to find them - do you think these will be added later or will they not be in this sale? Looking on expert flyer and changing the currency to France I can see there are 9 but none when done on GBP?

many thanks,

dan

Booking at furthest point out generally does not get you the best fare

Sorry

Sorry meant to say where, it’s Punta Cana or Cancun but both are the same. I have found I fares for going out at the start of Aug 2022 but not return.

Wait a while…. then buy in one of the (many likely) upcoming sales. And if it reduces again in price cancel using Book With Confidence and rebook. Different times now

Why would you want to travel to a Red list country????
If you think this will change by 2022 - I want some of the drugs you are on :-)

I am booked for Punta Cana in November this year - and I am certainly not on drugs. It's red list for the UK, but most of Europe can travel there freely on holiday now without issues, my family went there (from another EU country) quite recently and felt safer there than home. The UK red list baffles me.. especially as DR has fully vaccinated all travel, hospitality and hotel staff and most hotels are generally open air and in areas of the island with low cases. Many analysts were expecting the DR to drop to Amber in the last review, and by November I am sure it will be Amber, if not, BA holidays will cancel and refund the holiday anyway!

Hope all the I class doesn’t get sold in the sale before the new Amex vouchers start being issued….

think this strategy is good - ive been to countries which were green six months ago and are now red, conversely red countries have now gone green.... so don't think its crazy at all..

It is not about being scared it is about the hassle on return to UK
