5 May 21 : ba.com & app outage for 'planned improvements'

ba.com is down overnight for ‘improvements’. It is due to be back up for 5am BST.

Just a heads up for anyone planning to use it.

And I thought it was just the mad rush to book flights to all those locations that have apparently been declared 'safe'

Champion, just got up at 01.00 BST to book Avios return leg and even the US call centre cant help as they are unable to access the system either. It had better be good.

It seems something went wrong. I tried to log in after 5am BST, the message said "will be back by 5 BST"
Tried again after 6, now it says "will be back by 6 BST" --well it is after 6BTS and clearly not back😲

then they do not mention which year😁

Now says 8.00BST but I have just called the goldcard line and added my return from Orlando for next Easter on a 2-4-1 FTV booking. Missed this post yesterday and so called the US number at 01.00 BST and was told they couldn't access bookings either. Still, nabbed the 2 CW seats this morning so happy days.

Unbelievable that an online retailer can be offline for > 7 hours.

But, did we expect anything less? At least BA are consistent in this area

Dunno, but there's a good chance whatever they were doing didn't work, and now they're rolling it all back - hence, the lack of a resumption time.

Thanks for the 'heads up' just called and got my BKK-LHR added to my outbound, like yourself something the US could not do at 01.00.
I hope this new website upgrade is worth it!
