Using 2 Amex vouchers at the same time

Hi All,

Due to no travel, I have 2 Amex vouchers that need using, with a third due to be triggered this year. Not sure if this is a thing, but BA seems to be allowing me to use 2 for one booking. Is this correct? I thought I had to be one of the 2 travellers for each voucher used.

I am a single dad with 3 children. Would I be able to use 2 vouchers to take all 4 of us away at the same time ?

Best,
Chris

Yes, that’s perfectly acceptable. As long as you are one of the four passengers on the booking you can use two vouchers at the same time.

You can't do this online, but it's perfectly doable over the phone.

It can be done as an online booking if both vouchers are in the same name, and the travelling companions are all in a Household account and/or friends and family list.

I booked on that basis last week.

NB. This only applies to vouchers earned on the paid for card (2 year validity) not the free card.

As noted by others, the answer is yes provided the vouchers are from the Premium Plus card (and it can be done online). From the wiki of the companion vouchers thread:
Q: I want to use two vouchers at the same time for four people to travel together. Can I book this on ba.com?
A: Yes. If you are holding two valid vouchers earned using a Premium Plus card, you can use two vouchers to book for four people travelling together (including yourself), paying the Avios for two people and the taxes, fees and charges for four. If you want to book this on ba.com, you must check for availability for four passengers.

How do you select more than one voucher to use? I just tried a dummy booking online and it only allowed me to choose one voucher or the other. Not both.

Were you booking for four? I simply clicked and booked, and it accepted two vouchers. (I just went back into the account to double check both were applies, both are.)

Are both of your vouchers 2-year vouchers coming from a Premium Plus card?

If they are, then the options should be there automatically if you're searching for four passengers.

The option has come up now. It didn't earlier.
