The (almost) £1m holiday!

I couldn't help but laugh at this. Looking for a basic, summer holiday, in the month of June.

As the sale is on I put a few filters in on the BA Holiday finder, to see what comes out- the usual, Beach, June, Europe, Business Class flights. I was absolutely astounded to find this!!!!

I guess error fares happen both ways!

I've stayed there, quite sure even SFO777 wouldn't fork out £1m for a visit!

Haha! I remember reading once that for hotels it’s often easier to update their prices on the likes of Hotels.com to something outrageous that no-one would ever book rather than say they have no availability. I assume this is something similar!

In my hotel days we'd often set very future rates to 9999 or have failover to that so that the OTAs would get this instead of 1 or some other "error fare" if something went wrong

Pity BA dont give tier points Pro-rata to Avios. It would make a heck of a TP run.

This has been common lately. Rather than go through the rigmarole of listing rooms as unavailable hotels will alter the price to something no one in their right mind would pay.

And the 2.4 million Avios you'd get for paying with a BAPP Amex card - wonder if Amex would temporarily raise my credit limit?
