Just had Flighty cancellation notification of BA890/AA6380 LHR-SOF on 10 Feb - might affect a few on here doing the Hawaii run.

Avios award flight LHR-DOH 13th Feb is cancelled so wondering whether they will allow to be rebooked on QR using BA code or not?

Yes, they would be able to rebook you on a BA codeshare flight on QR metal.

PKX-NCL avios F booking cancelled today. Annoyingly the once weekly PVG-LHR is weirdly being run with a 3 class aircraft with no F. Going to see if they will re-route via HKG with the first sector on CX (but seems no CX award seats available).

BA 8 HND LHR Now cancelled
(Previously equipment change from 77H to 350, which I was happy about)

Was on Club World Suite, sigh

The only HND LHR flight remains is BA 6. It will be a 789 by looking at the seat map.

Oddly on BA timetable online, it writes 787 and does not indicate any First class offered. In the flight details, aircraft type is empty.

I was an Oneworld Emerald member. Not sure will the First be blocked and offered as an upgrade.

I won't have much appetite for the original club world 😞

Are the GVA cancellations half term week? A couple of weeks ago BA still wanted over £300 each way for well timed weekend flights in ET. 🤯

Not February, but further out 787-9s are replacing A380s on the SFO route!

A couple of weeks ago was before governments across Europe told their citizens not to bother even thinking about going skiing this winter. Yes the Swiss refused to join in, but it’s still going to be a major dampener on demand, given that most people a) remember what happened last year, and b) realise they won’t be in line for vaccination before then.

Booked on 4th Feb to JNB on the BA57 - notice it's changed from an A380 to a 777.
The config is 12F - so assume without looking at the BA seat plans that it's an older 772? I suppose it could change to a newer version closer to the time?
What are the chances of getting a 789/10 on this route? .....maybe more chance of it swapping to a 773 or back to an A380

The major long-haul schedule update has been finalized for flights until 28 February 2021 ( small minor changes are possible ) so it's less likely that the aircraft type would change.
Obviously an aircraft change is possible but most likely it would be stuck with the 777-200ER.

You might get a 787-9 in theory but not a 787-10 as the -10 variant does not have crew bunks which would be required on a flight for JNB unless they block some seats in Y for crew rest.
