New Lloyds upgrade voucher - scam?

Just wondering if anyone else might have experienced this?
My other half has just received an email, apparently from avios, saying he has earned a new Avios upgrade voucher from his Lloyds Avios Credit Card. It appears kosher, email address looks normal and there are no links, just the normal Avios telephone number.
But as I understand it, they are no longer awarding upgrade vouchers.

Call Avios. I thought they had stopped as well.

I know nothing about Lloyds upgrade vouchers. If the email is from an appropriate source and they are not supposed to be issuing them anymore then it's far more likely to be an IT error than a 'scam'.

I received it as well. I was a bit surprised but thought it might be possible. On the other hand, the email looks dodgy, [email protected] whereas the previous voucher (a real one) came through [email protected]
It think they were awarding until 2020 but maybe because of Covid, they moved the card spending deadline later.

If there are no links - I can't see what the scam could be. As said above, more likely to be an IT issue.

I also got one of these - I’m quite happy that they have decided to award me an additional voucher!
