What does status 'Flight rerouted' mean in MMB ?

What does status 'Flight rerouted' mean in MMB ?
The BA2678 to DBV tomorrow allows you to check in, and no other obvious problems. But when you open the app and it invites you to check-in, under Status it says “rerouted”. Any idea why?

that will be because it was a LGW route which is now leaving from LHR.

MMB: 'Flight rerouted' meaning
Can anyone explain what 'flight rerouted' means here? It's the route I booked so I can't see anything obvious that's changed.

You want to remove the booking reference from the screen shot. It makes things too easy for crooks.

I presume this is an exLGW route? Even if you booked it after they have been temporarily moved to LHR it will still show that message.

Would have been a LGW depart with four digit flight number now leaving LHR I assume ?

LHR-FNC Sunday 23 Aug - rerouted?
A new one on me - departure and arrival times the same as ever but it says rerouted on the app? Any ideas? Weather looks fine for Sunday.

I believe all flights that were previously departing from LGW will now show as rerouted. As the Funchal route has been moved to LHR, it will say ‘rerouted’.

More information here, it would be more surprising if it didn't say this.

I had the same, it was an ex LGW route, however having booked from LHR (i.e. it well after this change was made) I was somewhat confused!
