Cancelling shorthaul Avios booking - fee?
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. What are the current rules for cancelling shorthaul Avios bookings? I cancelled a £1 booking over the phone a couple of days and wasn't asked to pay a fee (so I lost just £1 and got a full refund of points). Since then, I came across an article on HFP (link below) which says BA will charge you £35 to cancel and then refund the RFS fee you paid. Is the article wrong or did the agent just do me a massive favour?
