Info needed on how to find booked/available seat availability
A decade ago, I was really interested in flying and upgrading and...
There was a site that (for a fee, I believe) gave a breakdown of seats available (on different classes) for any flght on most airlines.
As I am being repatriated on a QR DOH-YUL flight in late August, I would like to know what might be available for upgrade (as cash basis) by, say, 2 or 3 days before the actual flight. FWIW, repatriation flights are in Economy. I have BAEC Silver (OW Sapphire) status if that matters.
A lead to the appropriate URL would be appreciated. TIA.

I'm not sure it will do everything you need, but many of us use www.expertflyer.com - there is a free version which is pretty good. Is that the one you meant? I don't think it provides info on available seats for Avios upgrades though, if that's what you were looking for?
