Using Gold Priority Rewards for UUA?
Hi. Does the Gold Priority Rewards facility apply in conjunction with Upgrade Using Avios, enabling the use of double the standard Avios for any upgrade, or is it only applicable when making standard redemption bookings? Thanks.

My experience is that you cannot upgrade a gold priority reward.

Very wishful thinking! No it doesn't it's only when buying them as a full Reward

As noted above, Gold Priority Reward may not be used with UuA, with GUFs, or with companion vouchers.
From the terms and conditions:
7. Gold Priority Reward may not be used in conjunction with Avios & Money, [ii] Gold Upgrade for One or Gold Upgrade for Two; or [iii] Avios for Upgrade or [iv] American Express Vouchers.
