Extra reward availability in V for BAEC Gold
I am sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn’t see it anywhere.
I want to book flights LCY-PRG for my father this summer and the flight has 9 availability in all booking classes (including V) yet I cannot see reward availability in ET. Is the extra reward availability only on mainline BA services and not BACF services?
There are currently CE reward seats available but I am not sure it is really worth it on a flight to PRG from LCY (no lounge access, no blocked seat, sustenance provided in ET anyway).

I don't think the extra availability for Golds is on every flight.
And I agree about CE not being worth it. I'm struggling to think of anything your Dad would get for the extra. I guess he'd be off a few seconds faster.

In my experience the catering on the LCY route beats CE catering on mainline.

CJ flights from LCY do offer the extra availability; I often make use of it.
However, I am not sure that it is necessarily the case that every V class seat can be booked in this way.
(In contrast, at present Golds are not offered V class as award seats on Comair flights. This seems to come and go over time; at the moment, it's gone.)
