A new redemption finder

https://seatspy.com/

This is a site that I have nothing to with but I like the way it presents the results and while it is under beta testing there is no charge for creating alerts.

Well I did. Looks ok. Nice pictorial representation of availability per cabin. And searchable for VS as well as BA.

Tbf the OP has almost 3k posts on FT (not to mention the Mucci badge) so I don't think this is a spammer.....

I’m really impressed with this tool so far. Great to have a tool for searching Virgin again!

Nice for those who want a VS option of course. Not completely convinced by the output screen though ... if I ask for Business I have to wade through all the semi-circles for the other classes. It’s all rather busy, and (for me) contains a mass of irrelevant info on other classes.

However ... A selection list (tick-boxes) on the input side to allow a set of classes (F + J, for example) ro be selected, and then only displaying the desired classes as output, would be my preference.

Apologies for my negativity!

I’d call that constructive feedback 😉

Wish the feedback from my customers was as positive!

Registered.

I note I can only create an alert until Dec 19 ... as this is Beta, I forgive!!

Needs detailed refinement I suggest!

Is seatspy reading this thread?

When selecting, yea. But the output still shows everything. That might be useful if you want to consider options, but IMO it makes the output screen too cluttered. A filter at the input stage could simply the interface.

FYI, seatspy is following this thread. He has also contacted me by email, which I paraphrase as follows .... For now, he's in overdrive following the publicity, and having difficulty matching traffic and the volume of flight searches. He appreciates the feedback, but for now he's concentrating on site stability and responsiveness and ensuring reliable response to search requests.

Refinements will have to come later, clearly!

Great tool and impressed. Very new to this(Does BA official site do something similar). Still in the process of getting my 241 voucher and only have 130,000 avios in the household account at present. Not sure that would get me to PLS or HNL return in CW for 2 just yet.

Anyhow great site for me and will be using it.
