Ways to book miles + Avios?
I am looking to book a holiday next June/July. I would like to book flights (and upgrade with Avios) and a hotel for part of my trip. I hope this would give me the option of paying a deposit like for BA holidays? Is that possible online?

Book the flights and hotel online and pay the deposit as you would a normal holiday. Then call to do the UUA.

Yes - book online knowing there's Reward space, pay the deposit and then call up for the UuA. Otherwise, do all in one phone call, but this is rather time consuming whilst they find the deal and then phonetically spell every name etc etc etc !

How do I book with a hotel for part of my trip? There used to be checkbox, now I can't find it.

I did try custom trip, but there was no option for paying a deposit?
