LGW - PUJ BA2205 Catering Question

I have no doubt there are threads in this so I apologise but have tried a number of searches myself. I do think this is a black art on forums. There are many gurus out there and I am most definitely not one!

We are taking this flight in J on Sunday 20th October. It leaves at 13:15 and I am sure we will get lunch after take off and we have pre-ordered. I absolutely love afternoon tea and am wondering if this will be the second meal. Anyone know, (or can point me towards a thread that tells me)?

Thanks in advance.

I’m guessing Can I Help You meant ‘No it’s not afternoon tea it’s a second meal’ rather than ‘there is no further food after the first meal’.

Sorry my mistake, for some reason I thought this was a European flight, yes the second meal will be afternoon tea.

So refreshing to see someone who is genuinely excited about something on here and does not just complain

Have a great trip, Soft Top - I hope you will enjoy it to the fullest ^

Thanks SKT-DK.

I do find things to complain about but overall I still travel BA and unlike most on here I relish the afternoon tea. In fairness I think most complaints are from the Club Europe version but I enjoy that too!

i assume Soft Top has pre-ordered a special meal? I understood that pre-order from the standard menu isn't available ex-LGW. We're on the 2205 to PUJ in Feb, and that option is greyed-out in MMB.

Uncle T, we’ve always pre-ordered from the standard menu for our LGW flights. Available to pre-order about one month before the flight is due.

Uncle T - it was a pre-order from the normal menu. Seems to be available as normal from LHR in MMB under the meal options. Enjoy your time in the DR.

The former....thought a Goldie would have known that?

'Meal selection will be from the on-board menu; pre-selection is available between 30 days and 24 hours before your flight'
