Weather disruption DUB/LHR today (Oct 1st)

Weather disruption DUB/LHR today (Oct 1st)
Anyone else falling victim to this?

Was meant to connect this afternoon in LHR for a (rare) trip in First but DUB-LHR are all badly delayed and several are cancelled, so not going to happen. Typical.

Suspect I will be posting in the ORC thread in a couple of weeks.

I'm in Paris and some of the flights from/to Heathrow have been cancelled. Yesterday I moved myself from BA323 to BA319 an hour earlier and 323 has been cancelled, 319 is still listed as operating - at the moment. I hope to be back in Somerset tonight for a skittles match - fingers crossed.

I got notified the 782 to ARN today was cancelled yesterday afternoon, kind of handy as I needed to move the trip out anyway so managed a no fee change.

We were on the canceled LHR to Prague flight. Got rerouted onto Austrian via Vienna. I’d be grumpier,but it sounded like many people got bumped to tomorrow.

LGW-AMS was delayed significantly today; door closed at 10:42 (just after scheduled departure) then we pushed back at 11:25.
Weather/ATC delays were attributed as the reason

There were a lot of tactical cancellations today at LHR due to inclement weather. Thunder and lightening as I left the office and several periods of very heavy rainfall.

BA806 to BLL and BA807 BLL-LHR was cancelled tonight - it must have been on a short notice because when I checked earlier today the scheduled aircraft was from the cancelled ARN 5PM afternoon service.

Flew in from VIE to LHR and about 1 1/2 hour delay while we navigated our way round the thunder clouds. Saw an awesome bit of forked landing quite close to our left as we turned for final approach!
