That ridiculous pre-flight email from ba

So I get the email from ba re our flight to London (the first leg of BHD-LHR-KUL-BKI)
It clearly says that we can:Choose your seat early, print or download your boarding pass and speed through the airport when you check in online, from 24 hours before departure.
I'm pretty sure that, as this is an EI first leg, I can't do any of those. Which bit have I got wrong?

You’ll find that if you complain you’ll get a standard letter that doesn’t address your question

Silver do as well. It is limited to a number of downloads. However, I had a flight in F where it was unlimited, so now I have a bunch of publications on my ipad.

But sadly, no email for the return flight.

It probably also told you about car-parking at LHR.

"You're getting closer to take-off" email from BA with my booking reference and tantalising description of: "Flavour things up - Great food makes better flights. From tasty snacks to Tom Kerridge creations, look forward to a range of delicious food and drinks that take you on a journey of flavour."

...our flight being booked in F...

Sometimes I really think that if they were purposefully trying tp consistently achieve IT ridicule, they wouldn't even manage it so well.

I’m sure my email bin has received dozens of these pointless messages. Easy to delete, though.

I got 2 emails for an upcoming flight in CE. One of them said checked bags aren't included in my ticket (news to me). The other said to check how many bags I can take if the flight is operated by a partner airline.

I sincerely hope people aren't relying on these emails.
