Yes they will and it will be more expensive than booking it online before hand.
Status does not get extra baggage allowances on a HBO fare
I would check the fares as a fare with luggage might be cheaper than HBO plus luggage

You have choices depending on route, but using TFS return as an example.
1. Book 2 Plus fares @ £50 extra each.
2. Book 2 HBO fares and add a bag online for £42 each way.
3. Book 2 HBO fares and add a bag at the airport for £50 each way.
4. Make 2 separate bookings, one HBO and 1 plus.
Number 4 is the cheapest option, but less chance of you being seated together.
