The 434 return flights go on into April but only if you select a cheap outbound date

Managed to get the fare rules on ITA Matrix.

Important points:
  • Looks like last allowed date is 12th December
  • Says unlimited stopovers but only allowed flight is BA40/BA41 so not really any options there...
  • IMPORTANT: fare needs precisely 2 passengers. Putting 1 will end up with you getting a 4k price ticket (this means it's cheaper to buy two tickets than one!)
  • It is indeed a flash sale - last date for booking is today - so don't delay if you want this!
Availability is still there for much of November and until 12th in December.

Update: rules on matrix led me to dig a bit further - there's actually availabilty from end of this month all the way to 12th December - makes it an even sweeter deal for anyone who couldn't make the Nov/Dec dates may want to dig a bit more!

This looks very good indeed. Adding a five day car hire seems to be ca£50 ... I just need Mrs ST to finish work and be in a good mood.

Has it been pulled? I can't find this price at all. I'm not an expert on ITA Matrix. Do I need to add any special settings other than Origin, Destination & cabin?

I'm looking for any dates between 27/12 & 2/1 if anyone can help.

As I mentioned a few posts above you, last bookable date for this fare is 12th Dec so unfortunately 27/12 is too late for this deal. Sorry about that :/

As said, this is for flights before 12 December, and is also only valid for 2 travellers. The Premium Fares thread also points to the 2-traveller fares from QR at the moment (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/show...&postcount=495). But I recon you won't find any / many sale fares covering Christmas - New Year, which is the busiest time for holidays in South Africa.

Fascinating! We’re sorted for this year’s SA trip, but this is certainly a fine option for late in 2020. Avoids using the 2-4-1 to CPT too!

I'm already sorted for my little African sojourn this winter too, otherwise I would have been all over this like a cheap suit.
