Thanks, that makes much more sense.

LHR-DXB is still showing as 2x787 and 1xA380 daily for February 2023. Is it still planned that one or other aircraft type will switch to the 777 or A350 with Club Suites by then?

Hi. We're booked LHR->CPT return, for November, seat map showing 77L layout. Can anyone confirm if row 1 (A/K) is missing a window? Wiki looks like there are two but Aerolopa seems to show just one? Thanks

Booking my Flights from LHR - SIN in January 2023 and as others have stated, the 777 still showing the old CW seats. Fingers crossed the refurbishment plan is completed by the end of the year and there are no Aircraft Swaps.

I think by November this year we should have a better idea - fortunately this is a reward flight so I can cancel and re-book onto another airline if it's not Club Suites.

G-STBH will leave CWL tomorrow and be replaced by G-STBA. Not sure if STBA is going for refurb or standard maintenance.

I flew onboard TBA back in December and either way it is long overdue due to the state of the interior of this plane

I’m looking at booking BA from PHL to LHR/Zur in August.
Looking at Expert Flyer, it is showing old club world on my travel date. I know there is a lot of time between now and then.
Does anyone know if PHL/LHR is getting close to having the new suite on that route consistently?

If not, I’ll probably book on the AA 789 instead.
Thanks!

Very difficult to predict and BA are prioritising JFK to be all-Club Suites and even that has been getting aircraft swaps last minute. My advice would be is to ask yourself "Would I be absolutely mortified if I flew old Club World and not be able to tolerate it?", if the answer to that is yes, then go book an AA operated service instead and come back to BA in approx 12 months from now by which time the entire 777 fleet should have been refurbished and perhaps they'll move onto retrofitting 787s, not forgetting that hopefully some of the stored 787-10s may finally be allowed to be delivered if and when FAA life the Boeing deliver embargo

ThanksAirbusA350.
I wouldn’t be mortified but since I don’t get to make this choice that often, I might get a better soft product on the 789. I still have a little while to research. Thanks for input.

There is such a thing? It is because Charlestone? Is there any article related to the ban?

If BA are putting out their old CW seats vs the only other direct LHR-SIN carrier (Sg with their brand new A350 seats), and charging £2-3k more, who is going to fly them? Apart from those using 2 for 1 vouchers who can't use their Avios on a better product, say Qatar?

It's hard to tell, but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm booked on an LHR-PHL in F mid-summer. None of the refitted aircraft have more than 8 F seats and they are selling a 14F cabin on the route. On my service, more than 8 seats are sold... so some time for bookings to change and BA would downgrade if pushed to do so, but it does appear that they are planning to keep this on a non-refitted 77W.

I plan to use a 2 for 1 but won’t bother if it’s old CW - so even then i’m not sure who would bother.

if we re talking about BA11/12, isn’t this likely to be switched to an A388 within the next few months?
