Still non CS - raised a point earlier in the thread that I had concerns about this route getting swapped and seems i’m right to be. Availability with Avios in F did however come up for the 2nd - may be worth checking.

I haven't seen this posted elsewhere so hopefully I'm in the right place for this...
I've noticed on 2 separate B772s now the exact same damage in seat 8K on one of the storage doors. The pictures are from G-VIIF and G-RAES.
When I initially noticed the damage the second time I assumed I was on the same aircraft but only noticed now a few months later as I was updating my flight log with the registrations.
Any idea what's causing this? The damage looks pretty much identical although I can't see what it would be scraping to cause that.

Club Suites in B-777s
Greetings,
Apologies if this has been asked before, but are Club Suites on the 777 routes to and from SIN?
If not, what's the chance of turning up and finding the ye olde style seat on a 777 out of LHR or Changi?
Many thanks.

Hi,
Someone with more info will be along shortly, but AFAIK, most of the 777s at LHR are now Club suite (a few are still left to do)
There thus maybe a small chance of a non-club suite 777.
If the aircraft changes to a 787 then there is a greater chance of a non -cs suite
When are you thinking of travelling?
Regards

Hi,
I have been waiting to book the BA0209 to MIA for next April (with a 241) to enjoy the club suite.
It seems sometime in the last week or so, BA have switched it out to a A380 on that route (for all the random dates I checked), so I am guessing when my date becomes available in the next week to book, it will still be the 380.
I cant seem to find an alternative for Florida that still has a club suite option. I know its a long time away and it could change again, does anyone know of a route there that I get the club suite, without going indirect? otherwise I will go for the 380 and try and get one of the row 53 or 59 window and aisle seats

Its quite likely that will change with the start of the summer timetable around the end of March. However there is still no guarantee that either flight will have Club Suites or which one and, as you've seen of course, it is subject to change anyway.
I think all the other BA flights to Florida (Tampa, Orlando) are from Gatwick so those are very unlikely to get Club Suite.
You can't control it so I'd book one and just see what happens. Notwithstanding which Club World seat you get, the A380 is a nicer aircraft to fly on - especially on the Upper deck.
